Tender, an electronic duo from London, is a band steeped in modernity. Writing songs about the addictive and immersive nature of self in our world, their unique style reflects upon the hypernormalisation of the surreal within our culture.
With this in mind, I focused on the theme of surreal reflection and the idea of sinking into oneself.
The album cover features a high-gloss finish that allows the viewer to see their reflection within it. The vinyl itself is a slightly translucent blue, which ads to the tactile, interactive nature of the package.
